The following story details the work undertaken on a living room makeover

1. PROHOME made a dummy wall

  • Raised sockets from original position
  • Created  feature with panelling
  • Gave excellent support for large tv
  • Erected shelf behind tv for storage

2. Matched panelling to tv alcove

  • Painted panelling to the same colour as rest of room
  • Continuity but still showing off the feature
(cost effective solution for attractive feature)

3. Fireplace was clients choice.

PROHOME sourced the fireplace and organised fitting.

4. Flooring

  • PROHOME sourced flooring for client and installed same

5. Skirting & architrave

  • Skirting is solid ash. The skirting was manufactured in PROHOME’s own workshop and installed by our tradesmen

6. Painting

  • Client chose colour and our painter painted walls and ceiling,
  • Varnished skirting
  • Sanded existing windowboards and re-varnished

7. Clean up

  • The room was cleaned to a professional standard, ready for the client to move right in
  • Removed all waste material from project site

The project took four days from start to finish. Four different trades were utilised
throughout. This case study perfectly illustrates the skills & ability of PROHOME craftsmen.
